Dana Bistodeau

St. Crois Hospice​

Dana Bistodeau, TRS, is a Care Transition Coordinator for St Croix Hospice – La Crosse.
Dana brings heart and a calm presence to everything she does. She plays a critical role in ensuring families, facility partners and colleagues receive the support and information they need as they navigate complex and meaningful moments. Dana has over 25 years of combined experience in long term care and hospice.
As a member of the La Crosse County Caregiver Coalition, the La Crosse County Dementia Coalition, and a Dementia Live Coach, she is dedicated to educating the community, healthcare professions and natural caregivers which allows her to combine her passion for hospice care and education.

Lee Her Lee

Western Technical College

​Lee Her Lee, DNP, AGPCNP-BC, APNP, OCN, is a nursing faculty at Western Technical College and practicing Nurse Practitioner in the Hematology Dept at Mayo Clinic - Rochester. She earned both her BSN and DNP from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Lee has over 17 years of diverse clinical experience, including medical–surgical nursing, hematology–oncology, infusion and IV therapy, gastroenterology, and hospice care. She is deeply committed to nursing education and is passionate about mentoring future nurses while delivering high-quality, compassionate, and patient-centered care to the individuals and communities she serves.

Serina Johnson

Emplify Health

Gundersen Medical Foundation

Serina Johnson DNP, RN, PHN is a Nurse Researcher at Emplify Health in the Gundersen Medical Foundation. Dr. Johnson has broad clinical experience gained as a travel nurse in areas of OB, Med/Surg, Pediatrics, NICU, ER, ICU, and long‑term care. She served as nursing faculty at Rasmussen University where she grew her passion for quality improvement and evidence-based practice. As Chair of Nursing Research on the Green Committee, she is dedicated to fostering a community of inquiry, supporting frontline innovation, and strengthening a culture of research‑driven practice.

Gina Von Ruden

Mayo Clinic Health System

Gina Von Ruden MSN, RN is a Senior Nurse Administrator for Care Management at Mayo Clinic Health Systems - La Crosse. Gina has 26 years of nursing experience with specific interests in care transitions, case management and meeting the needs of at-risk populations. She has lived in the La Crosse area for the past 21 years and loves this community and the fantastic care we provide to our patients.

Cameron Kiersh

Viterbo University

Sigma Theta Tau - Pi Phi Chapter

Cameron Kiersch DNP, RN is a faculty member at Viterbo University and holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice in Health Innovation and Leadership from the University of Minnesota.  Dr. Kiersch integrates systems thinking, design principles and innovation into nursing education, empowering future nurses to address complex global challenges such as climate change while advocating for the health and well-being of the communities they serve.

Linda Sargent

St. Mary's University

Linda Sargent DNP, RN is an Assistant Professor at St. Mary's University of MN (SMUNM) teaching Senior Capstone, Evidence Based Practice, and Leadership and Management courses in the undergraduate nursing program. Dr. Sargent taught for 13 years at UW-Eau Claire before coming to St. Mary's. Her background has primarily been in emergency and trauma nursing.

Mayo Clinic Health System

Beth Komay DNP, APRN, ACCENS-AG, CCRN is a Clinical Nurse Specialist at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse who is passionate about making a difference across all three spheres of impact—patient, nurse, and system. Dr. Komay's professional interests include critical care, reducing documentation burden, promoting positive patient outcomes, and supporting nurse engagement.
