Nursing Research on the Green is a free, community event held in La Crosse, WI  annually since 2002. The event is put together by a planning committee consisting of representatives from several local healthcare focused institutions. The aim for the event is to provide a forum for recognizing nursing scholarship and clinical practice innovations as well as sharing research. It is designed for nurses working in any setting, including students, and promotes utilization of quality improvement, program evaluation, evidence-based practice, and research through the dissemination of research findings and sharing of innovative ideas.
